In years 2008–2014, I was a PhD student at the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics, supervised by Prof. Teodor Gotszalk. Having presented the thesis on scanning thermal microscopy, on 15 July 2014 I achieved the degree of “doktor nauk technicznych” (literally: doctor of technical sciences), equivalent to PhD degree.
