• work on a soft X-ray microscopy/tomography system (vacuum-operated):
  • carrying out the experiments and diagnostic tests, processing of the recorded data (GNU Octave/Matlab scripts).
• development of measurement&control hardware and software (AVR C++, Visual Basic .NET), including:
  • control of home-built stepper motor systems over daisy-chained RS-232,
  • control of Newport Agilis piezoelectric stages.
• design and application of measurement devices:
  • dual isolated supply&communication system for stepper motor drivers,
  • ADS1147-based temperature monitoring system.
